"Sisterhood is the essence of all the wisdom of the ages, distilled into a single word. You cannot see sisterhood, neither can you hear it nor taste it. But you can feel it a hundred times a day. It is a pat on the back, a smile of encouragement. It's someone to share with, to celebrate your achievements."
- Presents: Every year during Trojan Parents Weekend Tri Delta presents their new pledge class with a beautiful brunch and ceremony held on our front lawn. Each girl is presented to the parents by the President and New Member Educator. This is a highly anticipated event by all of our new members because it gives them a chance to show parents what Tri Delt at USC is all about!
- Pearl Sisters: After receiving a bid to Tri Delta, each girl is given a Pearl sister, a girl who serves as a temporary big sister in the sorority and helps the girl get acclimated to Greek life. Pearl sisters are a great way for new members to get to know older girls in the house and learn about some of the great benefits Greek life can offer!
- Bigs/Littles: Once Tri Delt has gotten to know each New Member better, each girl is given a permanent "Big," an older member in the house who serves as not only a resource for anything and everything the New Member would need to know, but as a friend to study with, go out with, grab dinner with, or even study abroad with! This long-standing tradition forms great bonds between the different grades in Tri Delta, and has resulted in many strong friendships being formed!
Tri Delta won the Chapter Pride Award at the 2009 Greek Gala!
